Note from the author: Throughout the years foster parents have struggled to articulate to their children and family members their choice, calling, purpose, and the overall need for foster care. I know this struggle all to well because this is where my parents found themselves many times. This book is my “WORK OF HEART” to assist my parents and other parents like them with having the candid, courageous, caring, collaborative, challenging, conversation about being a foster family.
